Ally Giorno lives and works in Jackson, Wyoming.

Originally from Philadelphia, Giorno studied Painting & Printmaking and Art History at Virginia Commonwealth University. After living in Richmond, Tucson, Rome, and Copenhagen, she moved to Jackson in 2018, where the surrounding landscape continues to shape her artistic practice.

Introduced to painting at an early age by her mother, Giorno developed a lasting appreciation for color, composition, and the natural world. Those early experiences continue to influence her work today.

Working primarily in oil, Giorno's practice explores landscape, memory, and material through painting and sculpture. Inspired by the changing seasons and expansive landscapes of the American West, her work balances observation with abstraction, using layered color, texture, and natural materials to create pieces that evoke a sense of place.

Whether through painting, sculptural forms, or site-specific murals, her work reflects an ongoing interest in the quiet rhythms of the natural world and the relationship between people, landscape, and memory.
